Smartminds Initiative for Young Entrepreneurs is one of the established
organizations which seek to address psychosocial and economic problems among
youth in Nigeria and it neighbouring country. SIYE is currently implementing its
activities in FCT Abuja and looking forward to spread to other districts, through
trainings; youth are taught different skills in Video & Photography, Video & Photo
Editing, Graphics Design, e-Commerce & Digital Marketing, Soap making,
Environment management, Make-up & Fashion design, Knitting, Hair Condition
making, Air Freshener making, Body Perfume making, Hair Cream making,
Toilet Hypo Making, and entrepreneurship minded among others. After the
training, they are expected to be able to produce good quality products leading to
increase in Gross Domestic product and profitability. Secondly they will be able to
effectively work in their villages constructively and able to create jobs among
themselves.
